From the Foreword: “This service manual has been prepared by the Service Department of the Cadillac Motor Car Division to aid in servicing 1982 Cadillac automobiles. It is intended primarily for servicemen [sic] who are familiar with earlier model Cadillacs. It includes complete information on service procedures and specifications specific to 1982 Cadillac cars, except body service information which is covered in the [Fischer] body service manual.” [Some electrical system information marked with * in the table of contents is contained in the separate 1982 Cadillac Electrical Information & Diagnosis Manual.]
